As a print and textiles designer, my print style comes from building and layering designs to form organic, ever changing and unique patterns to use in my soft furnishing designs to be used in our homes and leisure environments.
My longstanding career in the TV industry as a Scenic painter has armed me with an expansive knowledge of colour, and teams up perfectly with my passion for screen-printing for textiles. Used to working on a large scale in my TV work, this trickles down into my print style, often using blown up and exaggerated designs in my prints.
Work created in the earlier part of 2014 was a collection of cushions that were inspired by the colours, glitter and powder paint fights that can be seen at our great British Music festivals, with these earlier designs involving many variations of screen printed designs and digital sublimation prints.
My final collection for Palmer & Braun, consists of 2 Ranges, the Shimmer Range & the Paint Fight Range. The collection is a combination of my own digitaly printed designs, beautiful metalilic fabrics and the softest jersey fabrics, to produced a range of fun, bright, colourful sleeping bags, blankets and cushions. Both ranges can be mixed and matched to create the perfect tent interior.
The Festival Collection for Palmer & Braun, will selling their products on the soon to be up and running Palmer & Braun website, Palmerandbraun.com
